It is too difficult to drive and hold her and not secure enough to just hold on to my husband. This seat was a perfect solution. Didn't see the U-bolts in the box at first but after purchasing more we did find them. Installation was pretty straightforward on my Grizzly 600 and we were up and riding in no time. The seat was quite comfortable on straight roads and uphill however on the downhills I found myself sliding off as the pad is a good 1-1 1/2 inches thick. My 7 year old son and 9 year old daughter had no problem staying in the seat (must be their smaller size). The back is quite roomy. Stores 2 chest protectors, 2 helmets, kidney belts, gloves, and still room to spare. Held a nice size cooler along with a days supplies including sweatshirts while we were riding. The seat is very comfortable and the arm rests/grips work very well. The overall quality of this seat is very good compared to some that I have seen that cost more money. One suggestion I have if you want to keep the dust out is to use calking where you drill the holes for the 'C' clamps, and run weather striping around the access door. |
